Maintenance Details
We offer maintenance to water features in Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
The services we offer include identifying and repairing leaks, consulting on methods
of algae control and water quality, winterizing, and spring cleanouts. We also offer
maintenance packages which you can read more about below. Products that you order
through us can be delivered at the time of any maintenance service. Before we begin
the service on your water feature, we may come out to your pond to give you a more
accurate price on the service. This assessment is free of charge. All pond packages
can be customized to your specific needs!
* Additional products are not included in the estimated cost of the service
** Estimated costs are based on a standard 11' x 16' pond. The actual price you will
pay is determined by the size of your pond and the attention needed.
Seasonal Services
Spring Cleanout
A cleanout is generally performed once a year and allows your pond to begin a fresh
new season. During the Spring Clean-out, you can expect us to:
- Drain your pond
- Power wash the rocks and gravel
- Clean your BIOFALLS filter and skimmer
- Remove all debris from the pond
- Rinse the pond out
- Add water treatments
- Treat ALL pond life with care
- Estimated Cost - $190.00**
Fall Shutdown
A fall shutdown (what we often refer to as "winterization") is needed in our area
in order to clean the pond of debris and get it ready for the cold temperatures.
The Fall Shutdown service includes:
- Removing your pump
- Disconnecting your check valve
- Trimming back your plants
- Removing any decaying leaves and debris
- Installing a bubbler*
- Installing a heater*
- Estimated Cost - $70.00**

Maintenance Packages
Bronze Package
The Bronze Package is great for people who like to care for their pond, but may
need a little help once in a while to make sure everything is at its best.
This package includes a visit to your water feature from our Pond Maintenance Specialists
every other month. During this visit,
our trained staff will identify any current problems and diagnose any future issues
that may come up in your water feature. The services for this maintenance service
includes:
- Emptying and cleaning the debris net
- Cleaning
the skimmer filter mat as needed
- Checking the status of your
underwater lights
- Checking the pump for proper flow
- Checking the automatic water fill valve (if needed)

Trimming any dead plants and water lilies
- Adding Aquaclearer
Extreme (for water clarity)
- Adding S.A.B. Extreme (to help prevent
debris)
- Estimated Cost - $44.00/month for 8 months**

Silver Package
If you love your pond and want to see it looking its best, but don't want to do
all the work, our Silver Package is for you. This package includes a visit once a
month from our trained staff PLUS the Fall Shutdown. Just like our Bronze
Package, we will identify any current problems and diagnose any future issues that
may come up in your water feature. The services for this maintenance service includes:
- Emptying and cleaning the debris net
- Cleaning the skimmer filter mat as needed
- Checking the status of your underwater lights
- Checking the pump for proper flow
- Checking the automatic water fill valve (if needed)
- Trimming any dead plants and water lilies
- Adding Aquaclearer Extreme (for water clarity)
- Adding S.A.B. Extreme (to help prevent debris)
- Estimated Cost - $82.00/month for 8 months**

Gold Package
Do you love to spend time near your water feature but don't have the time to maintain
it? The Gold Package is intended for you. We will do all of the dirty work for you,
visiting your pond twice a month. Not only is the Fall Shutdown included,
but the Spring Cleanout is included as well. During the visit, our expert staff
will provide the following:
- Emptying and cleaning the debris net
- Cleaning the skimmer filter mat as needed
- Checking the status of your underwater lights
- Checking the pump for proper flow
- Checking the automatic water fill valve (if needed)
- Trimming any dead plants and water lilies
- Adding Aquaclearer Extreme (for water clarity)
- Adding S.A.B. Extreme (to help prevent debris)
- Adding EcoCarbon (to remove odors and discoloration)
- Estimated Cost - $188.00/month for 8 months**

Our Platinum Package offers you weekly visits to maintain your water feature.
This package also includes the Party Package! (see below) During each visit, we
will check up on your pond and add the following products:
- Emptying and cleaning the debris net
- Cleaning the skimmer filter mat as needed
- Checking the status of your underwater lights
- Checking the pump for proper flow
- Checking the automatic water fill valve (if needed)
- Trimming any dead plants and water lilies
- Adding rock and gravel as needed
- Fertilizing your water lilies
- Adding Aquaclearer Extreme (for water clarity)
- Adding S.A.B. Extreme (to help prevent debris)
- Adding EcoCarbon (to remove odors and discoloration)
- Bitty Bales (to improve water quality)
- Estimated Cost - $270.00/month for 8 months**

Party Package
Do you do a lot of entertaining in your backyard? Is your pond one of the main reasons
your friends and co-workers invite themselves over for a night of dinner and drinks
on the patio? Then have we got a deal for you! Our Party Package is the perfect
way to give your pond a face lift, allowing you to focus on the rest of your party
details.
We'll come to visit your home approximately one month before the party to assess
what needs to be done, and come back to get it ready for the party date. Here are
the basic maintenance tasks we'll be checking and/or performing on your pond in
time for the big party:
- Mulch and weed areas directly around the pond

Clear up the water
- Get rid of all debris

Add rock and gravel as needed
- Check over and/or replace lights
- Tweak waterfalls
- Disguise BIOFALLS filter and/or
skimmer
- Estimated Cost - $107.00 per party**
All we ask for is to be notified one month in advance so we can have the crew and
materials available to make your pond look its best.
